Transformers

Voltage transformers convert energy from one form to another, most commonly employed to monitor alternating AC or DC current by measuring voltage. They present negligible load to the supply being measured and have accurate voltage ratio and phase relationships.

Includes potential transformers (PT) with iron-core construction and capacitor coupling voltage transformers (CVTs) that reduce voltage levels using capacitor coupling principles. Available from 25 VA to 2500 VA for safety and circuit separation applications.
